About 3PL Checker

3PL Checker checks the invoices your warehouse (3PL) sends you. We read every line, recalculate it from your signed rate card and your own Shopify orders, and show you the charges that do not match, with the evidence and a credit request you can send. The first audit is free.

Why it exists

A brand shipping a thousand orders a month gets a warehouse bill with thousands of lines: pick fees, additional items, packaging, storage, receiving, returns and shipping passed through from the carrier. Each warehouse bills in its own layout, rate cards change by amendment, and most brands do not have time to check every line. Errors are rarely deliberate. They come from rate tables that were not updated after a renegotiation, units keyed twice, canceled orders that still reached the billing run, or storage counted on the wrong basis. Small errors repeat every month.

Audit firms have long done this for carrier bills, but mostly for large shippers. Warehouse bills are harder to automate because every 3PL formats them differently. That is the gap 3PL Checker fills for brands shipping roughly 500 to 5,000 orders a month.

How an audit is done

1. You upload your rate card or contract, recent invoices (PDF, Excel or CSV) and a Shopify order export.
2. Software reads the documents. Spreadsheets are read directly. PDFs and contracts are read with an AI model, and every invoice is added up and compared with its printed total so nothing is missed or misread.
3. A person confirms the rate card against your contract before any check runs.
4. Fixed rules, not AI, recalculate each line: rates by effective date, item counts against orders, cancellations, duplicates, storage basis, shipping markup, surcharges, packaging and minimums.
5. A person reviews every finding. Only findings we can show with evidence reach your report.

What we do not do

• We never contact your warehouse. You decide what to send and when.
• We do not sell or share your documents, and we do not use them for anything except your audit. See how we handle your documents.

How we make money

The first audit is free. After it, monitoring costs $149 a month: we check each new invoice as it arrives and draft the credit requests. If we find less than the monthly fee in overcharges in a month, that month is refunded. Payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
